Full Risk Assessments

A Risk Assessment is providing the testing procedures necessary for
determining if a house or apartment has a lead hazard present. Included
in, but not limited to, these tests are dust wipe samples and soil samples
for finding out if lead is being brought into a home or if a lead dust
hazard is being created within the home. Examples of this are the areas
surrounding friction or impact surfaces on doors and windows. Visual
determinations are also an important tool of a Risk Assessment. A Full
Risk Assessment is a combination of both the Lead Risk Assessment and
the Lead Investigation. The final element of a Combination / Full Risk
Assessment is to make recommendations as to the best way to deal with
the lead hazards found in the testing and some estimate as to their cost.
