Lead Investigations
A lead investigation is a surface-by-surface testing
of all painted and finished surfaces and its sub-strata. This would include
such items as plaster, sheet rock, cabinets, wood-trim, doors (both wood
and metal), all types of windows, ceramics and any number of items used
in the construction and finishing of a home. This testing determines
if and where lead is present on either the interior or exterior of the
house. Paint is considered to be a lead-based paint if it contains 1.0
mg per cm 2 or more of lead.
